HooRay! I'm Exhausted!
Today, I shampooed my living room carpet. It's such a nice fluffy, clean carpet. Maybe only for a week or two before it looks normal again. Just a very nice feeling! I'm so lame!

I love the feeling of a fully clean house. It doesn't happen often that everything is all clean at once (and it doesn't last long), but it's such a refreshing feeling.
I totally hear you! With a big ol' lab tracking dirt in all day (and now a six-year-old boy too), our carpet has seen better days!
